A macOS entitlement validation flaw allowed sandbox escape via improved process entitlement checks.

Apple's macOS suffered a critical validation issue in entitlement verification that let malicious apps break out of their sandbox. DIBs must ensure all macOS devices are patched to macOS Golden Gate 27, Sequoia 15.8, or Tahoe 26.7 to prevent privilege escalation and data exfiltration. This is not an RCE or zero-day, but a high-embarrassment unpatched flaw.

Shame score — A critical CVSS 10.0 sandbox escape flaw in macOS that required a multi-version patch across Golden Gate, Sequoia, and Tahoe, indicating prolonged exposure and avoidable negligence in entitlement validation.

▸ RECOMMENDED ACTION  Critical severity — schedule patching of the affected products.
